Synopsis: Light northeast to east winds and slight seas are being observed behind a weak cold front moving through the coastal waters. Winds will remain light with little change in the sea state through tonight. Winds veer southeast and steadily increase whiles seas build Wednesday through Friday as surface high pressure builds east overspreading the Gulf of Mexico. Strongest winds are expected Friday into early Saturday as pressures fall over the southern Plains. Marginally strong winds and moderate to high seas will be possible on the Gulf Saturday night.
